Future content development

The content within the Map of Medicine and our development plans are continually reviewed to ensure the depth and coverage of the product meet the requirements of health service personnel.

There is currently a pipeline of new and updated pathways (below) that extends into the third quarter of 2007. Prior to that development being completed a comprehensive 3-year plan will be finalised to ensure the Map of Medicine remains fit for purpose across a range of healthcare scenarios.

In addition to the pathway content, we also plan to expand the supplementary data within the Map of Medicine, eg. medical images are currently in discussions with a number of providers to enable seamless integration with other content repositories, eg. drug databases and patient information leaflets.

I would like to contribute to the Map of Medicine
