Delivering clinical benefits with the Map of Medicine

Since Informing Healthcare implemented the Map of Medicine in May this year, a 3 month survey was undertaken to define the benefits of the product to clinicians.

 

 

 

 

 

 

After just 3 months, 136 clinical staff from across Wales completed a survey which revealed the following results:

• 24 hour access to evidence based information was crucial, especially for junior staff.
• The Map of Medicine was easy to use, putting guidelines and evidence
  in context with the patient journey.
• Over 300 consistent care journeys are now available across the whole
  of Wales with local variations added to support regional practice.

In just 4 months there are now over 1000 registered users of the Map of Medicine in Wales with access to all clinicians planned within 12 months.
