Sweden buys Map of Medicine

Following the successful first sale to an overseas market, Sweden, the Map of Medicine is now available for clinicians and administrative staff in Stockholm.

Ketan Patel, Operations Manager and Enone Honeyman, Clinical Lead, have just completed the initial training for the Stockholm team led by Anette Falkenroth, Project Manager (pictured) and Lars-Bertil Arvidsson, the business sponsor. In addition three people from our business implementation partners, SYSteam attended the initial training programme.

The pilot has been developed with three key objectives:

• to test the Map with doctors and nurses in a variety of settings
• to review patient journeys for appropriateness in Sweden
• to translate pathways into Swedish

Other countries are increasingly interested in adopting the Map for quick and easy sharing of the latest evidence based clinical information across their healthcare organisations.
